LOL hmm down south they mention a possible winter storm while mount holly says rain, what a joke. If I were Mount Holly I would mention the potential.

How are they calling for rain north of DC but rain/snow south of DC? Doesen't make sence. But Oh well nuthin wrong with that.

I think that's what anyone looking at the forecasts would wonder. I swear, you look at the AFD from Mt. Holly this afternoon and wonder what they're getting paid for -- they look at one model and declare that the next 7 days WILL turn out like that model says, no questions asked, whether it has any support from other models, or any known biases, etc. Just wondering, for those living in the Mt. Holly CWA, does this happen often?

They generally suck not unless its a sunny day. NO wait clouds will roll in and also blow their Sunny Clear Day. Call for a Cloudy night and it be clear.

Actually If a low peressue develops and moves up the coast as expected......the stronger the storm means more warm air off the ocean, when the storm gets north of our are the winds will be north or NNW.....many times Ive seen it POURING RAIN on the JERSEY SHORE with due east winds while a raging blizzard is occuring on the NC AND VA SHORE..with Nand NW winds...so yes, it does make sinse to have rain north, snow south...happens frequently!
