2 chilly nights ahead

#1 Postby Josephine96 » Tue Jan 27, 2004 8:09 pm

I know some of you are probably going to consider me a weenie  But we have 2 chilly nights ahead here.

Tonight it'll be around 40 but wind chills in the low 30's

Wednesday night we'll get down to the mid 30's here but upper 20's to the north

Cold snaps. Bring back the heat

It is a weather story for a weather message board; by no means the negative "weather weenie" connotation.

After hitting 82°F yesterday and 72°F today, the early morning lows expected in this part of central Florida of around freezing, (possibly even colder Thursday morning) just below freezing.

The Jacksonville, FL National Weather Service office has already issued a Freeze Watch for Alachua, Bradford, Clay, Putnam and Marion counties for for Wednesday night/Thursday morning for low temperatures in the mid to upper 20's.

It made it down to 39 this morning at the Swan and Dolphin Hotel. That's the closest weather station to my apt. and it's a couple miles away lol..

I think here it was around 41-43. It didn't feel too cold because the wind hasn't been whipping like I thought it would..
