something different...

#1 Postby pawlee » Thu Jan 22, 2004 7:23 pm

(this should get some of you excited about the 2004 season! the message was from previous emailing...)

hello! hope y'all are well. i've been wanting to draw from satellite images for quite some time so as an experiment, i decided to try and render a hurricane as seen from space. this is basically just a sketch as i would eventually like to accurately depict images featuring historic weather events. anyways, as the title says, this little 6 x 9 inch drawing is something different... enjoy! p

That is an awesome drawing, pawlee! 8-) Looks something like the sat pic of Isabel (when she was a Cat 5 storm) that has been my computer desktop background for the past 4 months or so.

Looks similar to Supertyphoon Lupit (2003), Hurricane Linda (1997), and possibly even Gilbert (1988) but not quite.
