06z ETA/GFS - MAJOR SHIFT in QPF's in CAROLINAS

#1 Postby Stormsfury » Mon Jan 26, 2004 5:15 am

The 06z ETA and GFS major shift in the heaviest QPF's across Central South Carolina and North Carolina ... MAJOR ICESTORM POTENTIAL TODAY...

Latest RUC keeps the PRECIP freezing/frozen across MOST of South Carolina ...

With current temperatures across South Carolina in the 20's, and low 30's in the Charleston area currently, as the precip moves in, and a secondary SFC low develops this morning off the coast, the wedge should continue to be reinforced across the Carolinas today.

Snow doesn't bother me, however it looks like south Jersey could see quite a bit of Ice from #2. Not good!
