Norfolk went from 51 to 33 in 20 minutes this afternoon...powerful cold front indeed

If you think that is amazing........ In Montana, it was 63F then by midnight it was -21F. THAT IS A POWERFUL COLD FRONT!

Here is another one....... In Montana, 24 hours. 44F Down to -56F :eek:

Another one, Rapid City, 49F down to -13F in 2 hours!

Models do tend to underforecast CAD. People in the Carolinas need to be very careful throughout the next 2 days. There may be more ice farther south than previously thought.

which is another reason why i think the ETA 0z run is WRONG with regard to the second event. hell even the EC at D2 had the 0C isotherm at h85 down to PHL.

Greg Fishel showed NC Weatherscope and it's forecast temps through the event. Low to mid 20's rampant interior NC and temps in the upper 20's through the event for Wilmington. :eek:
