Intersting...

CPC has now seem to come in line with the ETA models instead of the GFS. However, it may be overdoing it. It now predicts a moderate risk of 1/4 inch icing in NE Georgia. and a MOD risk of 4"+ snow in C VA and SW VA, along with Richmond. Raleigh NC has a good risk of icing and snow as well... we will have to see what happens...

THE DAY 2 map seems to have a slight northward trend... but still has D.C. and philly in the MOD risk of 6"+ but C PA has the highest risk.

Who is right? We shall see... :D :D :D

The cold trend continues. On the ETA, the 850mb temps from the 18UTC droped about 30 miles south from the 12UTC run.
