If you look at this radar you will see that the radar trends indicate most of the moisture appears to be south of PA.

This could change overnight, but it is beginning to look as though most of the moisture with this system is staying south of N PA, at least for now. Are any of the models trending south at all? I know they are trending wetter, but if they are trending more south with this, it could help explain why it is that N VA is now expected to see freezing rain all the way into 7am Sunday morning. Earlier trends had held that the freezing precipitation would change to plain rain by 9pm tonight. That has not happened; NWS is now calling for freezing rain and temps for N VA not to get above freezing until 7am Sunday.

This is NO time to be traveling in N VA. The roads are a sheet of ice, and more sleet and light snow are falling, with freezing rain expected later tonight.

Hmmm......................................
