#1 Postby Anonymous » Sat Jan 17, 2004 11:04 am

So the weather people claim that my area will see anywhere from 1 to 3 inches of snow tonight. Does anyone think that I could se more or is this a good forecast?

Are you in South or North NJ? If you are in the southern NJ area, yes that forecast sounds good. If you're in N NJ, I'd say more like 4-6".

They're forecasting 1" in Southern NJ with perhaps a mixture of sleet and freezing rain.

Then you should get 3-5" with maybe a mix of freezing rain/sleet...

these are new developments, when do you see this starting. I live in northern Ocean County, right next to the boarder on Monmouth County, if your familiar with NJ. So 3-5, when does it start and when does it end.
Also, do you think that they will issue warnings/advisories soon?

thankyou

Hmmmm...it should start between 4 and 6 PM. Yes, I think 3-5", maybe more if you stay all snow. Mt. Holly will probably issue Warnings/Advisories with their 3-4 PM update...or sooner.

what a nice surprise, just last night thay were saying just mabey an inch, but now a nice 3-5 or more if it does not change to a mix. I think that it will stay all snow, just my opinion, but i think that we will see somethink like 4 to 6 inches out of this, if of coarse it does not change over.

Well, it may last into Sunday morning...we'll see what happens. IO'm going pretty conservative right now.

New ETA temps are a bit warmer, so sleet may lower accumulations even up into my area.
