Ya know, after watching TWC, the local news this a.m., I REALLY feel for you folks back east fighting this latest Arctic outbreak, I mean, I'm used to the cold (that's has relative meaning now) single digits to the teens for highs, we've even been below zero 4 times this season (-5°) being the coldest, with windchills near -20°, but HOLY CRAP........I can't believe the windchills in Maine etc  Take it from a REAL mountain man, I FEEL for ya's!

Yup I sorta feel for 'em too......................but I like the cold. In fact I'm way too obsessed with it. I am so fookin' obsessed with it that as a result, I know for a fact that major cold and snow up north is something that I shall never lay eyes on. It is possible to go too far with something and that folks is what I am most admittedly guilty of. My folks will have absolutely nothing to do with me ever venturing north of the Mason-Dixon line.

Well I guess I'm just gonna have to suck it up huh.

Anywho, what I was gonna say about Maine and Mainers plight concerning the cold is, except for people such as myself, we are all creatures of choice.

We all make choices. :)

Mainers made a choice to live in Maine and to invest in a homestead there. It's really sad (for folks that don't like cold) that the wind chills in Maine will be colder than -60 degrees. That's right crisp. You don't exactly wear a thin coat in that air, not if you value your life.

Yep, for most of us, Life is all about choices.............................
