I kinda disagree with it. For one too far to the north especially west of the apps. And number two will be east of the apps between DC and Philly amounts way too low. I say this because of the trends for one with the models and number two the snowratios which mainly applies to east of the apps. Has the right idea just too far north and too little along i95. But thats my opinion. Like him i could be wrong as well. Have to wait and see. He has the right idea along the coast but even the central apps down into MD/WV will do better then what he is saying.

on last call map I may merge the two areas of 2-4" AND or bang it to 3-6.....
from WI into the GL into western PA there will be a strip of significant snow ---6". BUT that heavy snow area will break down as the center reforms to the coast.... hence the Gap... and the re-developing snow on NJ coast.

Yeah, let's get that 3-6 or at least 2-4 into the NW DC 'burbs by the final call map. I just can't accept being placed in a shafted area between two higher amounts...

Dr Spectrum wrote:heh, I'm right on the lines of 4-8,3-6 and 2-4. The left end of the red line (right under the CLE) is where I'm at. I'd go for ANY of those 3 amounts.
I'll tell ya what Dr. Spectrum, you take the 3-6, and the 4-8. Heck, combine 'em and enjoy 7-14

I'll be set for life with that 2-4.

I can tell you this much - It took about 10 seconds for EACH button in the upper right hand corner of the BB screen to load. I didn't wait long enough for the rest of the graphics and text to load.

Hey Dr., just so you know, i was experiencing some problems with my board earlier tonight. I think it is back up and working again. Problems may continue the next few days before a new server arrives by the end of the week. I am glad you are over there though, nice to be able to talk to you, and so far we have gotten a descent response and turnout.

Response time on BOTH yours AND S2K have been great! I have not seen any slow downs on the message portion of the BB software. I did just update my profile and noticed a slight pause BUT nothing out of the ordinary.
Yea, I noticed the "DownTime" on yours earlier. Like you said, it's back up!

WxRisk-I agree with the 1-3" for DC metro, been my call all along, but what is your take on what I heard one met refer to as the "suspensory" quality of this snow in that very dry with some strong winds lifting the snow back up into the air to a fairly consistent height of 20 feet and casusng a real blowing snow visibility problem? Thanks
