More snow for the Northeast

As fast-moving storm system will move out of the Northeast, and another one will move in to take its place. Lingering snow across southeastern Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, southeastern New York (including NYC and Long Island), northern New Jersey and northeastern Pennsylvania Monday morning will accumulate 1-3 inches.

The next storm will sweep across southeastern Canada Monday and Monday night, spreading snow across the Great Lakes and the northeastern United States. Snow across the Arrowhead of Minnesota, eastern upper Michigan, northeastern lower Michigan, northeastern Ohio, western upstate New York, northwestern into south-central Pennsylvania, western Maryland and eastern West Virginia Monday will accumulate 1-3 inches.

Warm air aloft will spread overtop of cold air trapped in the valleys of the northwestern United States Monday. As rain from a storm system off the West Coast pushes across the region freezing rain and drizzle will fall in the valleys of interior Washington and Oregon.
