This is really a BUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#1 Postby NCGal » Sun Jan 11, 2004 4:05 pm

Just checked the weather and as of this morning ALL the local channels and stations had snow in the forecast for us (Raleigh, NC), has been in the forecast since Friday and now there is NO mention of snow for us. Wonder how many times the forecast will change between now and Thursday? Just like this past Friday we were only supposed to get 1 inch and ended up with 3 inches. I hope they will put snow back in our forecast for this weekend.

With these clippers you can never be too sure, NCGal. I would like to see it give you another 3 inches! :)

Well in all honesty NCgal i dont see it changing for your area. Looks like this one is gonna stay for the most part north of you. You may get some wintry precip out of it but i dont think it will be much.

If any areas in NC see snow mid week it'll probably be west of I-77 and north of I-85.

Right now the NWS for here in Roa Rpds:

Wednesday Night:

Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming cloudy. Chance of rain or snow after midnight. Lows in the upper 20s. Chance of precipitation 40 percent.

Thursday:

Cloudy. Chance of rain... mixed with snow in the morning. Highs in the lower 40s. Chance of precipitation 40 percent.

For Wed. night wonder why rain or snow is mentioned...it seems obviously with forecast low temps of upper 20s that it would just be snow. :-?

That's the low, as the night moves on temps will increase. And that's always what the NWS does.

Middlesex is about 35-40 minutes from Raleigh headed towards Zebulon. Hopefully we will get some more snow!!! I'd love to see a big one.
Stay warm and safe!! :D

Hotlanta saw a light dusting of snow early Saturday morning. Well, at least North of the city.
