War Protestors

#1 Postby azsnowman » Sun Mar 09, 2003 8:29 pm

I was laying in bed (GOD I'm sick of that LOL!) watching FOX News this afternoon, they featured a woman who escaped from Iraq, she had been a victim of Saddam Insanes Army, she had a mustard bomb dropped near hear, I didn't catch the whole story BUT she had photos of the way woman are treated over there and showed the latest war protestors in D.C., a bunch of women dressed in pink, now what would THEY say if they KNEW just how women over there are treated or do they really know or give a greased owls a$$? The woman stated that a friend of hers had been publicly decapatated JUST for saying HI to her next door neighbor, a man!!! These WOMAN need to wake up, better yet, send their butts over there and see how far their protests will get them, it would save their husbands thousands of dollars in make up, hair dresser fees

From one of these Iraqi women, it was learned that all it takes is for a woman to be ACCUSED of prostitution, and she forfeits her life w/o trial or testimony by beheading.

Where is the NOW gang when statements like this are presented? Where is the outrage?

Now, being the female that I am... I could either choose to bash the men posting in this thread or I could side with you. I believe I am going to side with the men. I have read some horrific stories of the way women are treated abroad. All those "pink ladies" protesting should consider this... they should cover their faces on a daily basis, not to leave the house without a male companion, no talking to your neighbor, no work outside the home. God forbid if one of you need to take your child to the emergency room, but can't because you are a woman. Do not dare try to sneak or you will be beaten or beheaded in your efforts to save your childs life. You will also be condemned if you are caught wearing make-up or learning to read and write. You will also have your tongue removed if you dare speak out against a male.

What they need to be protesting is how the women are treated. IMO, if they are protesting against war, then that means they are saying it is okay to treat women and female children like dogs.

Forgive me gentlemen, but those "pinkies" can put their protest signs where the sun does not shine.

I like the looks of your flag, too, Bronwyn...it speaks of the melding of many into ONE, which is so badly needed everywhere...and seldom to be seen, I'm afraid.

(E-mail me...I'll tell you more about the swords)
