#1 Postby NCGal » Tue Jan 06, 2004 7:26 pm

us, here in Johnston County, NC. All stations have been forecasting for us to have snow this Friday since last week, now all has turned to flurries except for 1-2 stations. Oh well, maybe next go round. Let It Snow, Let It Snow!!!!

Hey NCgal, I'm with you! It would be nice to see some measurable snow, but I'm not sure if it's going to happen Friday. Maybe next week if we are lucky.

What was the exact scenario in jan of 2000 when they called for flurries and raleigh got 20". I know that doesn't normally happen, but why can't that happen agian. How is this scenario different? From what i heard the air will be moisture laden..there is just no mechanism to help in bringing it down to the ground!
