Snow Flurries in D.C

#1 Postby Lowpressure » Tue Jan 06, 2004 3:11 pm

It is not much but it sure is pretty to see after 74 degrees Sunday. 39 degrees so not sticking. You can tell it is bone cold above and up stream. Big fat slow falling flakes. Getting a bit heavier now. I know it is no big deal, just an update.

In Woodbridge we saw some real dark clouds but no snow, but I am relieved; looks as if things may well be looking better for N VA.

High was 39 degrees which was nice to see, and we are already down to 34 degrees :) Dewpoints are refreshing at 15 degrees, winds are NNW at 9 to 15mph, G 24mph. This is definately an improvement folks.

This weather is tolerable. :) :) :)

Jeb, I am sure there will be ample opportunity for us to talk cold and snow before it is over this year. Wind chill is getting chilly. 27 degrees nnw at 18 and gusting!!

In Gaithersburg at 2pm the flurries were squallish,
as the front came through. They were less in Alexandria at 330pm
The temps down and dropping. Have a warm nite , all.
