The Eta is also showing warm temperatures and no dam. In other words, it's showing rain for NC.

ETA is a bad model for temps,, trust me its going to be snow for lots of NC

ECMWF also shows very good RH's as well, and decent 850mb RH's ... but here's the kicker ... what will the SFC dewpoints look like and secondly, just how much moisture will it actually take to overcome progged dewpoints that are to be in the single digits.

But what I do know is that it looks like NC and VA will get more snow then anyone is predicting.

Does anyone know if a low preasure will develop infront of this system and take it for a rid up the coast giving SE VA (me) a good coating of snow?
