Is it possible?

#1 Postby Suzi Q » Mon Jan 05, 2004 6:13 am

With lows forecast around 35 Tuesday night with a 30% chance of precip, is it possible some of that could be of the frozen variety? I'm not saying snow, but maybe some sleety stuff? I know, us SE Texans always looking for wintry precip, and this is prolly a stupid question, but I had to ask.

I remember getting snow in the DC area with temps in the mid to upper 30's. I guess it depends on what is going on in the upper atmosphere.

Don't forget, there's a 70 percent chance that you get nothing. First I would be worried about getting precip before being worried about the type.

depending on the temp. in the upper atmosphere. If the upper atmosphere is cold enough you might get snow or sleet. If not... all rain my friend.
