Huge outflow area, small CDO

From the looks of it, HETA has a huge outflow pattern and a small, tight CDO feature. I wonder if this is typical for S.H. cyclones?

On another note, look at the large blob of convection near South America on this shot from NRL:

It's just north of the equator. Hey, who knows, if it gets near 5 north, it can at least take advantage of the Coriolis force. But it is probably just something to watch and nothing more.
