If you'd prefer spring conditions.....
I would like to take this opportunity to cordially invite you to come visit sunny, warm Virginia!!
If you're tired of all the cold winter weather and you're looking for a break, then book a flight.......even on the cold and snowy West Coast, you're only about three short hours away from our mild midwinter paradise!
Tomorrow.................Partly Cloudy skies are on tap, with mild morning conditions, and our afternoon highs should top out in the low to middle 70s.
You won't need a winter coat here in Washington DC, just a nice pair of board shorts and a nice fashinable T-Shirt or Hawaiian shirt. Everyone is eating out tonight and they are all outside, kicking back and shooting the warm, balmy breeze.
Yup folks, it's a nice warm, easygoing early January evening here in northern Virginia. No bad weather here at all................................

Oh David.........I wish I could........The very fact that I am as obsessive about cold and snow, is all the more reason that I shall NEVER see such a place. I might get to see it in July though.

Jeb, If You love cold, and snow, move to 2 places, Lake Placid NY ( Often Below Zero!) or Ft Kent, Maine. THE TIPPY TOP OF MAINE, VERY COLD!

Thanks for your support hurricanedude.

To everyone in general.....
......and yeah I will be obsessive about snow and cold til God says its time for me to kick the bucket. I have made firm decisions to wonder after crippling snows and devastating cold for the rest of my natural life and I will NEVER stop. Not EVER. It's safe to say I am embarrassing my family and nearly everyone else in northern Virginia with my extreme obsession with severe, severe snow and cold.
I will keep right on praying for 36 inches of snow right here in Woodbridge VA because I want it and because I KNOW N VA is NOT prepared for it and because I know all too well from living here since 1969 that there is no way on earth that N VA could EVER be well-prepared for a snowstorm like that. I love snow and severe cold over nearly everything else in winter. As I get older, it turns out that I am NOT maturing, I am loving snow more and more and more and more and I LOVE what it does to cities and everything else and I will always want it. While everyone else struggles with it, I'll be conducting another jebwalk and enjoying its effects. In winter, extreme cold and severe excessive snow is indeed ALL I care about.
I will be talking like this on my website too, I am about to get my own domain name because I am just as obsessed with Web Design too.
So I will pray for 36 inches of snow in N VA and highs in the single digits and winds from 30 to 50 mph with higher gusts and for blowing and drifting snow with near-zero visibilities and extremely hazardous, life-threatening conditions, so that I can play my Christian songs and associate them with this horrendous winter weather. The above conditions would shut N VA down for 2 weeks easily. I would be completely overjoyed.
Before you King of Weather tell me about crying about N VA's accursedly hot January weather, remember that I was pretty obsessed with 77/64 T/D spreads going on into December and you wanted me back with the Winter Program. Well I'm back with the Winter Program. Yeah I am back with the winter program, all too well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes I will cry, b^tch and moan because it is so accursedly warm here. I personally HATE 70s in January. In the Outer Banks in October, 70s are fine, they support my beach jebwalks, but here in January in N VA they are uncalled for.
I will do it in many places because that is how I am in real life. I can't stand warm weather in winter, I want severe snow and severe cold and high winds so I can associate all my Christian songs with all the drama and take my jebwalks and enjoy the horrific winter drama. The whole idea of having to wait 2 to 3 weeks for a snowplow is to me the very apex of life, the very thing to aspire for all my life.
You'll hear me b^tch about warm weather in winter, but you will NEVER hear me utter such hypocritical comments as There's too much snow or It's too cold, because with me it can never be too cold or have too much snow in the winter, regardless of the effects, no matter how horrific, upon everything else!
I can't move north. From this post, you will gather why: My family will have nothing to do with such a thing. It will never happen, though I wish it would. Last February, my father and I nearly came to physical blows, because he was so embarrassed because I had the front light on and I was watching the 2-inch-wide flakes coming down. I never learn from these kinds of events; rather, I become even more obsessed with the snow in winter.
I NEVER get tired of snow and cold, you will find that out for yourself. If we did get three feet of snow here and N VA was shut down for two or three weeks, you would never hear me say I am tired of snow and cold. I would be concerned about it warming up and melting all my snow. I would have absolutely ZERO concerns about what that snow is doing to our region, short of enabling me to enjoy my jebwalks because of all the piles of snow.
I have seen other people crying about warm and no snow, then subsequently later they got snow and oh, it's so cold, oh, they are so tired of winter weather. Fine, that's their views. But that is a hypocrite. I will never do that, I always hate warm weather in winter and extol severe, life-threatening snow and cold and high winds and wind chills and that never changes, ever. No hypocrite here. I love extreme winter weather regardless of the consequences. People can't handle the winter, they should live in Jamaica. Too bad. I'll still pray for horrendous winter conditions. We have had enough warm weather in Virginia and I want some serious winter weather.
ICE AGE JEB---Absolutely Uncompromising in my Winter Views----And Utterly Unlikely to Ever Change........No matter what.

its the sarcasm behind the post...we KNOW its warm...and we DONT like it either...but he knows its going to be getting MUCH colder VERY soon as do you. One sarcastic post about how warm its been is fine...two is alright...and i could deal with a few more but one new thread after another obsessing over it is EXTREMELY annoying.
what i advise you to do is go back through the winter weather forum...then come back and tell me how many other posts like that you find obsessing over this SHORT bout of warm weather in the mid-atlantic you find coming from him...sure he can say what he wants...but myself (and others) have the right to say its annoying.
I like JEB and i have NO personal problem with him i just want him to look forward to whats coming instead of dwelling on the warm weather of the present.

Thank you FLguy! I couldnt have said it better myself! Yes i do consider Jeb a friend myself and trust me i feel the same way he does just im not gonna post about it everytime i come into there.
May i suggest Hurricanedude that you stick to modding your own place that you do and not here. We dont need heavyhanded modding on this site which is one reason believe we have grown the way we have which i cant say for where you mod at for the same exact reason of what your trying to do here my friend. Hopefully you take my advice and apply it to what you do elsewhere because your kind of modding is what has killed that site and i wont allow one way or another to happen here at storm2k!

EXACTLY king...
Im stuck in the 70s and in some cases 80s down here on a daily basis...so whats going on up north really doesnt effect me in terms of winter weather...but when i try to tell folks that the warm weather of the present isnt going to stick around...i mean that its NOT a big deal...NOT the end of the winter...it does NOT mean that you will never see a snowflake again for the rest of your natural life...it means the warm air is just a TEMPORARY thing and it WILL turn COLDER QUICKY AND VERY SOON.
theres only so many times one can tell folks (and im not talking about Jeb) something...it is up to them to put it to use.
