Enjoying the roller coaster ride ? ........................

I hope everyone is enjoying the roller coaster ride this winter.

Up and Down and around we go and where it stops ......Nobody knows.

You may be next to see the big storm or you may see the
flowers bloom.

This winter will be one of the most talked about season yet.

I like it so far..........we get our cold snaps and then we can
warm up for the next round.

It is like when I use to live in California................Go to the
mountains for the cold and snow in the morning and then
go to the beach to soak up the sun and warm temps........
.......ALL in one 12 hour period.

Enjoy every day that is given to you........for tomorrow
may never come.

Once we get a nice blast of sub-freezing high temps for at least a few days - and a 10"+ snow event - then I will be completely satisfied with this winter. Otherwise, I am still waiting.

I just got back in town from skiing in Utah. I've never seen so much snow in my life...it snowed over 6 feet while I was there! Now it's like I've come back to the tropics, I hate it, where is the cold?!

Here is quote from our local met here in New Orleans, there is still hope

"You will notice, however, the GFS is getting colder with each run. I will be watching this carefully this weekend...

Yes............in many cases.

I have seen some MAJOR SNOW EVENTS.

The snow did not hang around long but I experienced some BIG TIME EVENTS.

You just never know what will hit you until it moves in.

I have seen systems that became locked in position over my area that
just dumped the white stuff for a few days at a time.

This year may be no exception.

I can expect almost anything to happen this year.

From warm days to extreemly cold.

From dry days to VERY SNOWY conditions.

I again never said winter is over but I did say winter will not be long lived.

But while winter is alive..............EXPECT the un-expected to happen.
