Sick & Tired of Mild?

Go here!

Cut Bank, Montana

They will enjoy a fresh breath of cool arctic air for a few precious days :)

I have heard this is one heck of a bad season for the flu, but I got my shot back in September and I am good to go. I've been healthy as an ox. But there's nothing quite like a deep breath of genuine arctic cold with correspondingly low dewpoints to clear the nose. Back when northern Illinois used to get REAL winters, back when I was just a tender kid, I used to go up there to see my grandparents. It would hit -20 at 6am sharp many a deep winter morning up there. They used to get that polar vortex smack dab in their back yard every January. I'd have a stuffy nose and Gramps had just the thing for it: He'd take me out back and that cool morning air would just clear out my nose something nice!!!!

You could count on a White Christmas up there nearly every year! It was sure a heck of a lot better than having to put up with a mild, 65-degree green and brown Christmas down here in Woodbridge VA.

Man what I'd give for just one day of that clean, crisp, invigorating arctic air right now!!

LOL, Cheesy Poofs, I have to sing
the Cartman "Cheesy Poofs" song,
every time I see you logged on....

Yep - I'm sick and tired of mild...but, northerners
would tell me to move NORTH! I'll just whine,
in the meantime...;)

Sick and Tired of Mild?

No Way, Jose

All this winter crap is merely an intermission between hurricane seasons.
And once you get to Jan 15th, tornado season is only about 6 weeks away.
