I see a low moving up the east coast that should help produce the snow event.
With the highs in place will also help produce the event.
If I am wrong with what I said........then let the experts on this
board correct me.

But it sure does look like a snow event is on the way for the Northeast.

AccuWX, just like the GFS, must be taken with a grain of salt for medium range forecasting and especially past 7 days. Seriously...AccuWeather 15-day forecasts are pretty much useless without looking at other model and ensemble data to see where the heck they're coming from.
