It hardly ever snows here. What do you mean by, "why care about winter in New Orleans?"

We're looking at 51º sometime today. I look at it as a brief respite to what could turn out to be a coooollllldddddddddd winter.

Surely New Orleans has gotten at least some rare sleet or flurries in it's history.

For one thing we would love to be able to wear our sweaters in the South. Does not matter if it snows here or not, we just want a good round of some cold weather. Is there harm in that?

No harm in that at all. :)

I agree, it's great to be able to wear my nice, cozy, warm sweaters once in a while. I had one on during my drive back down here, but ended up having to remove one layer when I got halfway through MS. It was warm here yesterday but cooled down overnight. So now I'm back to wearing sweaters. :)

Of course I'll share my snow with you...after all, you shared Brad with me.

I dunno why he didn't show up...he said he was on his way. Must have been something important though, or I'm sure he would have showed up! ;)

Dont worry guy's and gal's winter will return within the next Ten days or so as i stated in my other thread about my Jan thoughts. Even here today the temps topped out at 50 but it may be the last 50 temp i see for a while as a coldfront is moving in this evening and will cool it off back to seasonal norms for the next few days before a another shot at colder air comes in around the weekend........

Horrifically very warm, unpleasant conditions in N VA this afternoon.

It was so darn hot that I had to take off my coat and my sweater, leaving only a t-shirt. This crap is ridiculous!!! I am sick and frickin' TIRED of having to endure springtime temps in late December!!!

Not only do we not get snow, but now we can't even hit seasonable levels!!

Remember one thing only:

SE RIDGE Its a B@stard. It shows NO mercy. It'll get hot and stay that way. My doggone grass is growing again. The lily bulbs are poking up through the soil. This is horrific and ridiculous.

It's pushing early January for heck's sake, and I'm wearing t-shirts during jebwalks!!! I wish I could move to the North Slope of Alaska!! They don't put up with this nonsense there!!! A high of 32 degrees is like high summer to them!!!

I am SO darn sick of climate change. Why couldn't I have been born during the Little Ice Age?!!!!!! 62 degrees in late December is WRONG!!!! What the heck ever happened to my 40s?

-Sick and Tired JEB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO MORE OF THIS HEAT!!! :( :( :(
