The problem is how much cold air will be available for it to work with? If the Euro is to be believed... this closed low and assoicated dynamics will create it's own cold air under the 500mb low(-13c). Where does that set up? No one knows right now.

While this storm will be primarily a rainmaker... a heavy snowfall is quite possible (and likely by Christmas eve) under the track of the 500mb low.

So are we talking puppy?

HurricaneDude, I know I know, attitude is probably coming off as blunt tonight, its the antibiotics I am on for whatever type of sickness I have now. However there is no split with the model data. The Euro and the GFS take it up the lakes, and the Canadian takes it up the coast. I dont see what type of split that Lmolineux is talking about here, perhaps he can clarify what two models he is talking about.

I don't think antibiotics have any impact on your attitude.
