NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OMAHA/VALLEY NE

...STRONG WINDS AND BLOWING SNOW HIT EASTERN NEBRASKA AND SOUTHWEST
IOWA MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING...
A FAST MOVING WINTER STORM PRODUCED LIGHT SNOW AMOUNTS AND VERY
GUSTY WINDS MONDAY AFTERNOON INTO TUESDAY MORNING ACROSS ALL OF
EASTERN NEBRASKA AND SOUTHWEST IOWA. THE STORM MOVED FAST ENOUGH TO
LIMIT THE SNOWFALL...AND SOME RAIN OR FREEZING RAIN PRECEDED THE
SNOW. BECAUSE OF THE STRONG WINDS...VISIBILITIES WERE REDUCED TO
LESS THAN ONE-QUARTER MILE FOR UP TO 2 HOURS AT SOME LOCATIONS...
MAINLY MONDAY EVENING. THE LOW PRESSURE HAS MOVED INTO THE GREAT
LAKES...WITH HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING INTO THE PLAINS...THEREFORE THE
WINDS AND CLOUDS WILL CONTINUE TO DECREASE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON.

Not a lot of snow, but definitely quite a bit of wind. This system didn't have a lot of moisture to work with but its dynamics were quite impressive.
