AROUND 20 N AND ABOUT 80 - 85 W. MAYBE A SMALL, LAST GASP OF MINORCONVECTION.........

Yes, a small flareup as of now. Still deepening, nothing significant however.

Whatever it is doesnt have a chance as a tropical system..that cold front approaching from the west will tear it apart. Personally i think its nothing more than run of the mill instabilty type convection caused by cool air moving over the warm waters.

I noticed that area of convection east of the cold front a few hours ago, too. It was pretty neat... it was moving notheastward toward the peninsula, southeast of the main activity associated with the cold front.
