Here we go...

#1 Postby wx247 » Fri Dec 12, 2003 4:49 pm

Winter Storm Warning for me tonight through tomorrow. I think my original forecast is on track with possibly slightly higher amounts if some heavy snow bands get established. I will provide updates on the weather in this region in this thread.

Thanks Chad. Monett straddles the Barry/Lawrence County line... in fact it runs right through the middle of town. I live right in between. The street to the north of me is Lawrence is the dividing line.

At 10:25 Central time... we have received 1/2" of snow in about the last hour with roads becoming white. Things should get interesting as the night progresses. More later...

We received a whopping 4" of snow from this storm. Some flurries may continue throughout the day, but it appears this storm was a little weaker than they thought.

Probably will. Right now it looks like the storm moving through Mon/Tues. should be mostly a rain event here. Maybe an inch or so on the backside if conditions work just perfectly.

But...you never know. ;)
