I keep thinking I am in a bad dream and one day I will wake up and I will not have had all this snow.

Morning everyone... one look outside and I can tell you things look nasty. Snow continues... I even woke up once in the middle of the night to thunder during the snow. Hard to guess accumulations because it has been blown and drifted so much. I am guessing around 5" but that is just a prelim. estimate.

Garrett - do you dislike snow? Just wondering. Because if you do, you should trade places with Jacki so she can enjoy your snow and you can have her rain.

No, I like the snow. I was referring to the bad dream bit as an attempt at sarcasm.

We received a total of 4.5" of snow from this system. Our university is closed today due to wind chills and blowing snow.

Garrett....it was raining when I drove to school this morning...started rain/snow mix about 0930am and then turned over to snow around 1015am...its been snowing ever since.

jacki...we've had advisories posted for the past couple of days. So far today....we've had barely an inch of snow....nothing to spectacular....we can still see the grass needles.

It seems like we keep stealing your snow. I would be more than happy to share. :)

snow in sw missouri

#19 Postby WXBUFFJIM » Wed Dec 10, 2003 3:38 pm

That snow in southwest Missouri sure beats a tornado outbreak we had there on May 4th, 2003. Towns and the towns people are close than ever following the outbreak of May 2004 and to see snow in these areas has to be a beautiful sight to see.
