When does the RUC model data update?

#1 Postby wx247 » Mon Dec 08, 2003 2:35 pm

What are the times that it updates? I know it is every hour on the initial and 3 hr. maps, but what about 6,9, and 12 hour? I know it is every 3 hours, but do you know the times?

THANKS!

Not sure about what site you're using to get at the output, but here's the link to the status on the NCEP models themselves:

http://www.nco.ncep.noaa.gov/pmb/nwprod/prodstat/index.html

Hope this helps!

Garrett, the RUC usually updates every hour/hour and a half roughly and there are many good sources for RUC information ...

(I'm in the process of updating the forecast model guidance pages) but take a look at this one ...
