Could someone give me the link to the EC model you refer to in your posting or let me know where I can find it?

This is usually the first place it gets updated (horse's mouth):

There are better (for North America) images out there, but they're usually updated later...let's see what everyone can come up with, and maybe we can all learn a new place for good ECMWF graphics!

I personally use Wright-weather ( http://www.wright-weather.com ) IMO they are the best source for model output on the net to date.
You need to sign up and have a password to view the data...packages start at 29.95/mo (i think) depending on the level of service you require.
