Thanks Steph! I am woman, hear me purr, or is that roar, I always forget! lol Either way...lets get em! I figure men are kinda like cats...they just keep people around cause they can't open the cans themselves...( ie us and pickle jars, some of those darn things are harder to get into than Ft Knox * giggles *) Tracy

Who needs them to open jars? Tap on the edge of the lid. Works for me.

I hate to respond to this thread... but.. about the jar lids.....I know there are gadgets available but the bottom line here ladies is you women LIKE to see us flex our muscles and spin those covers off with ease, handing them to you with that proud smile that says, "I'm needed".

My mom used to just turn the jar upside down, hold the bottom firmly, slam it lid-first and perfectly level on the floor, and then flip it back over and the lid came off without any effort. Never fails. :)

I'll second Jacki's comment about the lids. As for spiders, daddy long legs, centipedes, millipedes, etc....those I'm not afraid of....its just the tarantulas (I cringe at the thought)
