II've had serious thoughts of moving to Canada to get away from Bush if he wins again next November. Give me liberal Canada over the conservative US any day. Hopefully though people will come to their senses and see our country is in a much lower position in the World than it was 4 years ago and realize that we need a fresh new person to take us in a different direction..... an upward direction.

(sorry to speak on such a tangent, particularly since I'm fairly new to this board, however this president is one of two topics that really make my blood boil)

I don't, I hate the man with a passion. There is no way in h*ll I'll be voting for Bush next November (made that mistake in November 2000 and have been furious at myself since then). He's burned too many bridges with other countries, lies to get what he wants, and is all too willing to inject his bigoted and discriminatory views into the US Constitution. I don't believe for one second that his tax cuts helped revive the economy and there is no doubt in my mind that his trip to Iraq on Thanksgiving was viewed by he and his insiders as a perfect way to improve his image among the American public. Do I think he had good intentions for the troops as well? Yes. But it's a small morale boost on his part after sending our troops all the way over to Iraq without any sort of realistic vision on how to handle the country after the war had ended, particularly when he seemed to think that we and Britain could handle it on our own without the help and aid of other important countries in this world. Now our troops just continue to die because of that disregard.

And I do hope you love all the benefits of Canadian citizenship...no privately owned firearms, rationed health care, confiscatory 85% tax rate, and open borders to anyone from anywhere who wants to visit.

Hey, I don't need a French-English tutorial. I took 4 years of French in high school and several classes in college as well.

I highly doubt I'd ever actually move to Canada because I do love this country (I often have to fight back tears listening to the Star Spangled Banner), but I wanted to show my extreme distaste for Bush. It's that extreme that I would even consider moving to a different country.

But I guess until you're one of the people he's working to try to discriminate against, like me, then I guess you'll never understand my resentment and hatred for him.

Care to comment on how you are being discriminated against?? The only way you can be discriminated against is if you allow yourself to be!
