It still has a chance to get to 70 mph before it hits the coast but rain will be the main threat.

This is an event without precedent in the history that we are watching at and in our lifetime this may not repeat itself but with the global climate changes never say never to see this again in future decembers.

Yes, it is a real bonus for all of us tropical storm buffs -- just as long as no one is injured and property damage isn't too severe. But what fun to watch!
