Significantly downgraded for BWI/DCA and points west.

In and around NYC seems to be the sweet spot.

Nice update, DT. Looks like you are calling for 6" to 12" in my area through 4 AM Saturday, then another 2" to 6" during the day on Saturday - for a total of 8" to 18". My thinking at this time yesterday was 10" to 15" total from both storms - so all seems to be going well.

I would think so. My feeling is we will get some heavier snows from late this evening though early afternoon tomorrow (contributing to both the 6" to 12" through 4 AM tomorrow, and the 2" to 6" after 4 AM tomorrow), then some light snow flurries in the later afternoon/evening as the storm pulls away.

When should we start seeing snows from the low that is forming? Some of local people are saying only 1-2 inches tonight and more on sat afternoon. I am little confused.

Heady Guy.. My guess would be that tomorrow you would get more snow if that is what they are saying

I see your point, and I am not sure. I will be interested in the 18z runs of the ETA and GFS.

About 4 inches here in Lansdale, PA. Certainly not bad, and on the high end of what I thought this area would get through 3 PM today.
