BID list

#1 Postby GalvestonDuck » Wed Dec 03, 2003 2:44 pm

I'm not going to be the brave one to try it. But what happens if you click the button to ignore yourself? :) Do you miss seeing your own posts until they have replies? Obviously you won't get any PM's from yourself. Or do you get an error message that says something like, "You goofball! You can't put yourself on your own list!" Or do you disappear into a big Storm2K abyss from which you can't get out.:D

Just wondering.... I do that sometimes...just wonder about silly stuff.

LOL, Kelly.

Well, I got brave and I tried it. I received the confirmation message "Are you sure...." and then when I clicked "Yes," I received a PM informing me that I was being ignored on GalvestonDuck's BID list. Then I went to the test forum and posted a quick test message. Then when I refreshed the forum, my post was not visible to me, but at the top, above where it shows who is currently browsing in that forum, I saw a message that said, "Some users on this page were ignored. View this page with those users? "

Well, that was fun! :)

LOL! Seriously, Wednesdays are my busiest days here at work. But since I'm at the computer the whole time, I need a quick distraction every once in a while to give my eyes and my mind a break. :)

As for shopping, I have some of it finished, but not all. I'll be in KY for that whole week of Christmas, so I might do some shopping there also. And I'd probably never get a chance to do my shopping if I waited until the 24th. My grandparents have plenty planned on both days, plus I'll need a nap (as usual) so I can be awake for midnight mass.

Me too, Shawn. I say that some insigificant things we think about or may actually say be more important than we think. :D

Good One, Duck. It's a wonder that the server didn't lock up or something. You are an adventurous soul. Ever think of joining the bomb squad?
