State of shock

#1 Postby Rainband » Wed Dec 03, 2003 2:25 pm

As you all know me and tony may have to move if we cant get financed on our home. We went to look at manufactured homes in a park we lived in 5 years ago. I am still in a state of shock..we were driving down our old street and we smelled what i thought was pine needles 1 minute later as we were getting out of the car to check out the home we wanted to rent....the home next to our old neighbor..,one of our close friends..Maryellen, was engulfed in Flames..the lady living there made it out and we helped her away from the fire and then maryellen rescued her cat and we went to put mayellens 3 catsin carriers..we thought for sure maryellens home was next but due to the quick repsonse by The New Port Richey Fire dept it didn't burn. The other home was a total loss. NO ONE was injured God Bless for that. I am still in shock..thank god the car in the driveway didn't explode... What a week this has been.

Thank God that you were there to help your friend!

It certainly has been a year of trials and tribulations for everyone here at S2K and alot of other people that I know. HOPEFULLY, 2004 will be much better.

I hope this unsettled period goes away shortly Johnathan!

I here ya RB. My month for bad things was October. My Pomeranian died on the Oct. 3rd. My microwave went out, my washer went out and my puffer fish died on Oct. 4th. God really put me to the test that day. I managed to survive it and you will too, even though it does not seem that way right now. God never gives us more than we can handle. :)

Truly a miracle Johnathan! I'm very thankful no one was injured. As Linda said it VERY WELL, God NEVER gives us more than we can handle at one time and I "TRULY" believe with ALL my heart that He puts us thru these *tests* to see just how strong we are and when we PASS these tests, He moves us on to BIGGER and BETTER things! This has been ONE HEL*UVA week for a BUNCH of us I guess!!!
