I have three issues on this, please know that I am not thinking this system will affect the U.S.
1.) If the system were further to the west-(northwest) and moved northeastward it would have more of a chance if not definitely affect the U.S.
2.) If the steering pattern is such that it moves more northerly than northeasterly, than it would at least come close enough to the U.S.
3.) The cold front is currently back across extreme southeast Texas and not making a b-line toward the east, as the low attached to the cold and warm fronts is moving northeastward from SW Arkansas.
