Hey Josh....sorry about your Dad....I've been there myself. Its very very hard. My Dad died on Dec 15th, and was buried on Dec 19th, my birthday. To top matters off, I was DJ' ing at the time, and had a Christmas party to do the night of the 19th. At the time, I was very involved in the Country Line Dance scene, and would often be asked to lead line dances at these parties. All I can say is we persevere when we don't think we can.

That was 1992, and I'm still not over it. You never will be my friend, this is just one of those things in life we must deal with.

Best of luck to you in dealing with this anniversary, and all the other problems you have facing you.

Honor your father's memory, but move forward with your life, for that is what he would want from you.

Josh
my father died on December 24th 8 years ago. He was 91 and had lived a good long life but it was still hard to lose him.
Now, for me, Christmas always brings sweet sorrow. I miss him most of all at this time of year.
The holidays can be magical and wonderful but they can be sad and lonely too. Many people go into deep depressions during the holiday season.
Your first post on this thread sounded like you were very emotional and reacting very strongly to things without having a hold on what was really bothering you. Now it sounds like you understand what is happening and causing you such pain.
that is the first step.
Hold on and take it day by day and you will get through it.

And Luis; I have to apologize to you for my behavior towards you in the games forum. It was indeed unfair of me to act the way that I did towards you in there; and for that I am sorry and I sincerely apologize. :)
