our Met Office here states we had 593.4 mm for November, which is 23.36 inches if my calculations, are correct. They stated however that is the amount that fell at the airport and there were higher totals in other more mountainous parts of the island.
That is actually not a record as we had more rain than that in November 1999 when Hurricane Lenny dumped over 18 inches on us in a few days.
Well, record or not, it was more than enough. Our roads are still in a mess with large potholes, and with run off from the hills still occuring in places.

Good information msbee and that indicates to me that the whole northeastern caribbean area was affected by this rain event more rain in certain islands than others and november 2003 will be one for the record books for the NE caribbean islands.
