You're entitled to your own opinions. I'm not a bush fan- you are. All's fair in religion and politics. But do you really think it's best to turn off opinions you don't want to hear just because they dont' agree with yours? Seems a bit narrow minded- especially from a moderator.

Oh and Yeah. I can honestly say that I feel there is no benifit to the American people. *shrugs* You believe differently. That's cool. I didn't set out to change your mind- just to express my opinion

Hey im an Admin.. Not a mod. I get paid 5 cents more an hour then the mods

OperaGhost, why do you think that a Mod or an Admin shouldn't voice their opinion? We not only allow our staff to participate in dabates but in fact encourage it! The people we have asked to be on the staff have a proven history of participation and professionalism. This is a board run by members for our members!

I never once said that I didn't want to hear his opinion or that it shouldn't be expressed. I'm at a total loss where that came from. In fact I said that while we disagreed that I wasn't out to change his opinions- only to express my own.

As far as the joke: "Hmmm.. Think I might have my first opertunity to use the new "Ignore" feature.. lol j/k" Implying that a mod or an Admin would place a user on ignore strictly because of a difference in opinion- even jokingly makes the board feel quite unwelcoming. Even as a joke. And I'm perfectly within my rights to say that I think the joke implied closemindedness. I'm of the opinion that it's less than "professional".

But by all means his posts are welcomed as much as mine are in a friendly debate. ;)

Yes we are. So, IMO being a Bush fan has nothing to do with what is right or wrong. Bush is the President of the United States and regardless, you should back him and support him.

BTW.... do you think Gore would fought back after we were attacked Sept. 11th?!!!

Chad.... we need to discuss my extra 5 bucks an hour. LOL!!

Chad remember I'm the accountant and that 5 cents goes to taxes..... LOL

OperaGhost - I think the admins have a right to post and voice their opinion and Chad and Marshall love a good debate. They get tired of arguing with me..... LOL

I respectfully disagree- I do not have to back him or support him. I have the right to disagree with his policies and to protest peacefully against them. I didn't vote for him- I probably won't vote for him in 2004. What I think of Gore doens't matter one whit when discussing Bush. I'm not going to try to crawl into Gore's mind and determine what he would have done in Bush's position- I'm simply disagreeing with what Bush has done :)

I support our troops by choice. I dont' support Bush- by choice :) It's all neat and tidy :)

Just what I figured. Gore would have probably done nothing. You do not have to crawl in his mind to know what he would have done. And that is nothing. Then we would suffer another attack like Sept. 11th. No thanks.

Linda ,Well.. about the Gore thing I have to disagree.. I feel he would have responded to the 9/11 attacks, In fact if he wouldn't have responded to 9/11 he or any other president would have had alot of explaining to do... imho:):):)

Naaaaa.. that would have been Clintons repsonse lol... After doing some reading and researching I find it was Gore who had to prod Clinton to take any military action at all during his administration. While I liked some of Clintons economic actions his foreign policy was lacking, esp his weak respsonses to the terror attacks against out African ambassy and the attack on the USS Cole..

I agree 100%.

Bush is my President, but I don't have to agree with his policies. That's what voting is all about.

That being said, I again am impressed with the way he shows he cares about the American people (ala 9/11) and with his visit to Iraq to visit our troops. I think you said it best Ameriwx, I give credit where credit is due.

Unlike Iraq where until a year or so ago voicing your opinion got you a reservation in a mass grave...
