True...Josh u are giving up i am sure with the amount u have been posting lately it was only a matter of time before u eventually caught Luis...but if u are here just to be top poster then are u sure you were here for thje right reasons.

I though the reason why we were here was to make friends, learn and share knowledge and HAVE FUN.

Josh!! You know as well as I do that you don't really want to leave!! Yes, you may be on a lot, and post a lot, and yes, it is a bummer when you lose a race (heck, once I was on top and now I am 10,000 posts down!!), but we are your FRIENDS!!! The top poster title shouldn't mean that much to you, we should!! Just take a deep breath and do as I do.....read read read!! These days I do a lot more reading on here than I do posting, and when I post, I try to make sure it is something that matters..because like others have said, it is about Quality not Quantity!! Don't throw away good friendships over a race, IT'S NOT WHETHER YOU WIN OR LOSE, IT'S HOW YOU PLAY THE GAME!! Take all the time you need, and when you are ready to talk (because you know you will be), just send me a message and I'd be happy to help in any way I can....

Ok, this may be kinda flamish, so just slap me if I go too far. You have a complete meltdown because you don't get the 20000th post? For cripes sake, you DO need to get a life. I may only post on here once a month, or I may post 5 times in one week, either way I post when I think I have something valid to say or something humerous to put out there for people to get a laugh out of, not because I'm trying to be the first poster to reach some arbitrary number. I thought you were doing the same, but I think I may have been mistaken. Personally, I feel a little cheated.
And honestly, had you wanted to make a clean break, you could have emailed one of the admins directly and discreetly. Had one of us inquired as to your whereabouts, one of THEM could have let us know about your decision, and how you were trying to get your life in order. But you didn't, did you? Fess up little one, you wanted all of us on here to feel sorry for you, to hold your hand and "beg you to stay" as you so clearly stated in your post. Um, NO! Go get a grip and give us a holler when you're ready to be an adult.

I'm not trying to be sarcastic, but I actualy come here to relax. If the baord is becoming that much of a strain on any individual, IMO, they should take a time out. You do what you have to do Josh,for you and your well being. I don't think S2K is going anywhere.....

It's probably partially my fault, because of my post in the games board. I am sorry if I added any undo pressure for you to catch him. I appreciated your input and posts here on the board Josh and will miss you. I hope you just take some time off and come back to have fun and to learn.

stormraiser, this isn't anyones fault but Josh's. Don't put any blame on yourself. He is the one who put all the emphasis on a post war. Don't mean to sound mean.
Similar topics were made before on who would get to 10,000 or such, and they are all in fun as yours was.

When posting becomes an obsession and is no longer fun but stressful there is a problem there. Josh,I do believe you need a break from the board for awhile. Take a rest and hopefully we will see you back in the near future.

Josh - I hope you take this time to really rest and take a much needed break from the boards. We'll still be here if you want to return in the future. I know these boards can be very addicting. If I didn't have 2 kids who practically wrestle with me to get dibs on the computer (to play the Sims, ugh!) I'd be on a lot more than I am. And I often wonder what I did with MY time before I had computers. Probably had very few cobwebs, tidy closets, laundry all caught up, no ironing to do, homemade cookies all the time, etc. And no weeds in the yard! Computers are great, email even better, but sometimes it all can be very addicting. So I understand your need for a break.

Please come back when you're rested Joshua. It just wouldn't be the same if you left for good.

Well said all those words from all but the real issue that he has is nothing related to storm2k and post counts but with personal issues and I am sure that when those are taken care of he will be back with us.As a matter of fact Josh and me where having a great time posting at the games forum but suddendly came this from him but as I said before he has personal things that has him depressed at this time but after a cooling down he will be back I can assure all here.

All Josh needs is a break. I'm very close friends with him ... if you didn't know he's my Admin at my board, so we're always talking. I can tell you guys that he said he MIGHT reconsider coming back. So, just give him time -- I'm sure he'll be back.

OK, I need to post my latest thoughts...

Right now I do not want my account to be b anned or deleted. I am going through a ton of personal stress right now and I will likely post here when I need to so that I can seek help in regards to the matter. So PLEASE leave my account as it is.

They are much appreciated. No wonder S2K is known as a family website...

So the final verdict is no I am not gone for good; BUT I AM going to only be here on a much limited basis for the time being. Thank you for your support during this difficult time.
