Search Continues For Potent Explosives Stolen From Local Company

Location: Albuquerque
Source: AP

Federal and local authorities are continuing their search for 350 pounds of explosives that were stolen from a company just west of Albuquerque.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department say seven 50-pound bags of ammonium nitrate fuel oil and blasting agent were stolen from Titan Energy.

The theft occurred between November 19 and November 25 at the company's facility located off Interstate 40 near the Rio Puerco exit.

The thief or thieves also took off with a white Ford truck with the Titan Energy logo on it.

Authorities warn the stolen items can be dangerous and are clearly marked as explosives. It’s the same type of explosive material that was used in the Oklahoma City bombing.

Anyone with information can call the ATF at (505) 346-6914 or the sheriff's department at (505) 789-7000.

Beer.....I, for one, appreciate your diligence in keeping track of "possibilities". Even tho I do not post often, I believe our nation is facing extreme danger......and it seems to be happening right under our noses! I remember the Prescott theft.....my sister and brother-in-law live there; they own a business that makes night-vision equipment (infa-red), thermal-imaging equipment, gun scopes, etc. The items being made and designed NOW are very different than 10 years ago......here's the old law of "supply and demand".

Your bio is interesting! My father was a "homebrewer"......and nurturing those orchids make a wonderful "balance"!........p

Where is all this ammo going? It has to be kept stored somewhere. And for what? Do we have another Timothy McVeigh amongst us?
