When does your tree go up?

#1 Postby azsnowman » Fri Nov 28, 2003 8:17 am

Now with Thanksgiving over and ONLY 27 days to go....when do you put your Christmas tree up? We're heading out here in about 2 hours to hike the high country to find the *perfect* Blue Spruce and will probably put the tree up tomorrow.

Tonight after I get home from work - the artificial one goes back up and I'll spend the next two days decorating it and the house. Hubby is suppose to do the outside - we will see.

We will look on Saturday and hopefully find one. Not all the tree lots had them as of Wednesday. I should have the rest of the outside lights up today. It takes time when you have 10,000.

My tree goes up usually a week and a half before Christmas, because it's a real tree. ;)

We get a live tree also, but we put it up about 2 weeks before Christmas, on average. By the time it comes down after New Year's, it's pretty dry.

If I had an artificial tree, it would probably go up this coming week!

Ours went up Monday...the "Black Forest" is alive and well, ensconced in a corner of our living room. Annabelle (she be a ho') doesn't quite know what to make of it..."OOOOO, Daddy, all those pretty lights! Uh...can I go pee-pee under it?"

No exterior decorations are permitted as per our lease, so that's "it".

Putting my tree up as I type. As for the outside decorations, I am going to wait until the wind stops blowing.

The outside decorations went up last weekend when it was warm. I was thinking ahead... I don't do that too often. ;)

Our tree will go up about ten days before. having a very hyper active grandson running around will make it a stressful job.

In Massachusetts we put our large artificial Chrismas Tree up during the first or second week of December. We should have our very small one up here by the end of the first week of December.
