that's an understatement....
It's expected to curve and move away from land over the next few days. That's the most important thing the public in Japan, and especially the Philippines want to hear at this point. Maximum sustained winds with supertyphoon Lupit are 165 mph with higher gusts. This thing could strengthen to nearly 185 mph by the time it's all said and done over the next 24 hours. Definitely a good day to college satellite imaginary of this thing.
I think this is the strongest west pac typhoon of the year. Quite strong and dangerous indeed.
