3 km NAM at 18Z says a trace of ice Wednesday morning, I suppose from freezing mist. Suspect it doesn't happen here but model is showing faint and tiny radar echoes up in the Metroplex.

I have a three foot drift of solid sleet up against my backyard gate. I’ve been working on it for two hours and it’s only opening about two inches. I need a jackhammer. I can’t get the trash cans out to the curb.

Another strong cold front will move into the region Friday afternoon or evening and may result in freezing temperatures again this weekend.

At this time light rain and showers on Friday will end well before the air is cold enough for any freezing or frozen precipitation…so the weekend looks dry and cold…with likley lows in the 20’s and highs in the 40’s.
