Hey man. Be happy with what you get. It’s better than nothing. And you’ll look back in July when it’s 105 and say “damn. That was awesome.” I got 3” of the weirdest precipitation I’ve ever seen. Fog snow all day mixed in with graupel. Unless next weekend is a barn burner, I will look back and think how lucky I am.

I just wish everyone hadnt acted like it was gonna be some apocalyptic thing we've never seen before. Thats all

I know we're lucky to get snow at all here. There were moments when it was in the 80s at Christmas I seriously wondered if it would even happen at all for sure

I have a cousin who lives in Choctaw, OK and he’s always telling me that almost every snowstorm is a bust in OK for the most part and it’s always overhyped.

Ha it's funny because the best storms I remember here weren't the ones that were hyped they definitely love their hype here

A lot of sleet has fallen here in Austin. Looks like there’s still some more to come. So grateful it’s been mostly sleet. Had this been freezing rain, combined with the winds we’ve been having? Yikes.

Looks like around 5 inches here. I have no doubt if the rates had been better this could have been historic but I'm guessing the fact it's 8 degrees hurt us a lot

Here in Lindale it is 21F with heavy sleet. I'd say overall storm is at 0.1" freezing rain and 2.5" sleet. Sleet has been heavy enough recently to partially obscure footprints within minutes.

Says my low is 9, not sure we make that, what implications will that have on the high temp today......

Currently down to 12.9 IMBY, windchill is hitting 0 or -2 with thr gusts. Shorts and t-shirt weather.
