Okay, since it’s Texas I can deal with low 80’s in November but it’s 89 IMBY. That’s a no from me. Yuck.

It's hot today...but...

There is change on the horizon, big ones. The period leading up to TG will put plenty of rain for a corridor in the region. Then it looks like the models are converging on a colder air mass to settle in late TG week into the first week of Dec. Our first winter storm threat(for the southern plains) may be during that later period. -PNA slight tells me the core of the next cold wave will likely bleed down the plains and into the mountain west.

Interesting, I have a photo of my car covered in snow on this day back in 2014 here in North Texas.

Haha that was my first winter in Dallas and then it never snowed again til the last week of February  and the biggest storm was in March

One of the only two winters out of seven I saw in DFW with real snow in the metro

So far up here our worst winter still had an inch since. Two winters in a row! last year finally broke the streak

Topped out at 93 yesterday. It was the hottest recorded temp up here in November. I have noticed the actual highs have been anywhere from 4-10 degrees over what’s been forecasted. Dumb.

Sounds like some pretty bad forecasters up there if that’s the case.

I read on social media that there is a new GFS AI model. But, I can’t find anything. Is it just the GraphCast on Pivotal? That’s not new.

From what I understand it's only on pay sites right now. A met was even talking about it openly and said he couldn't post a link because of that

Probably weathermodels where the fancy euro maps are

I follow Larry Cosgrove closely during the winter months and he is sticking with a cold first week of December but warmer the rest of the month. He's usually pretty accurate. One point of reasoning is that there just isn't enough snowpack yet in Canada to sustain a substantial (longer than a few days) cold outbreak. For once, I hope he is wrong! :D

Record or near record warmth today and tomorrow. Then the rains come, and we watch what happens post Thanksgiving.

A lot of conflicting info on social media about whether it’s gonna get cold or not. Not too confident about it yet.
