Yeah for all this talk about heat here it's still pretty unsettled and I'm still hearing talk of severe weather mid week

A slow moving MCS is moving through this morning. A flood watch has also been issued.

Models didn't do well with this complex. Hopefully it holds together and gives more rain, and cooler temps!

“Models didn’t do well” is a phrase we’ve been hearing an awful lot lately.

Haha I remember when this weekend was gonna be hot and dry ..

It's been neither

I know it's gonna get hot eventually but it's just funny to see everyone hyping it when so far it's not panning out

It does seem to be weakening as it comes into DFW, but I still got .11, cooler temps, and the bigger batch is still coming down if it can stay together.

For lack of a better term it’s expanding west with the core further east weakening. I may be on the eastern edge of the new area. Hopefully.

Gotta love how the storms did that leapfrog over DFW.

Today's definitely a bust temp/skycover-wise.

But it's back to the regularly scheduled program tomorrow.

Low to mid 90s with god awful humidity of late for 100-105 heat index has been sweat haven.

Hi Texans. I am here because you in that state may have to watch the future of Invest 94E south of Central America because it looks like the track when it develops into a Tropical Cyclone will be to the north to northwest and that may cause moisture to go up eastern Mexico and reach Texas. I am right about that Ntxw?

74 degrees at 4 pm in Austin on June 15th is a pleasant Father's Day treat!

Storms pushed through from north to south about an hour ago, but sounds like (more thunder in last 20 minutes) they might be heading back the other direction?
Or "back building" is an expression I've heard before, and then continuing south?

Was thinking the same thing up here. 82 currently in Irving with some clouds. Humid as hell but not a bad Fathers Day!! About to start the cookout so being outside won't be too bad.

SA picking up another 1-2 inches of rainfall with this line moving through the area. Thankfully this is more manageable than what we just experienced a few days ago.

Definitely one that snuck up, could be an RI candidate it has a decent core. Dangerous for the far southern MX coast. Might get connected to the increase in moisture closer to the coast of TX medium term.

That little cluster of thunderstorms down by Kingsville has a good little spin to it.... If it was over the gulf it could do something... Interesting
