Went through my first tornado emergency on Tuesday evening. I was the first person in the safest space of the aparment with my helmet. The other one was a storm chaser lol. He was like "oh my God" looking at the radar and seeing it move right towards us.

Got very lucky. Storm went more to the north, and I think the tornado lifted before it hit Huntsville proper. But that was scary. It was also the first time I actually talked to my neighbors lol :D

I know I can't straddle the atmosphere...just a tiny storm in your teacup, girl.

Some cool pics and vids of the supercell over Huntsville...wish I went outside to see it lol...it totally loomed over my apartment at one point but I was too scared. Storm chaser went out of course
