At least the sunshine returns for the next few days.

And FWD bumped highs into the low/mid 90s as well.

What are thinking? Private, Public, Military?

Congrats!!!

Thank you! Sorry I haven't replied sooner. I was moving out of my apartment in Starkville back to Texas. I am looking in the private sector currently. I have applied to 3 jobs so far and haven't had any luck yet, but I'll keep searching! I may have something lined up though which will be exciting if it pans out.

The pattern looks very stormy. Todays system was just the start. So I would expect DFW to eventually get "hammered" sooner or later with such an active pattern. LOL

I'm watching the setup for Sunday near Wichita Falls and Oklahoma. Lapse rates look pretty good for supercells and looks like there will be a decent cap until the late afternoon/evening hours. Could have some tornado potential too although hodographs aren't the best. Probably a larger hail and damaging wind threat, but there could be a few tornadoes too. Upper dynamic support is decent as well so we shall see what transpires.

Is that line of t-storms expected to hold together and push through ATX and SA?

SPC thinks they’ll weaken fairly quickly after midnight. So probably not, but who knows.

EWX office seems to think they will weaken before reaching 35 corridor. Hard to say, but they look pretty potent right now- at least the Hill Country is getting some rain.

Tomorrow’s severe weather risk was expanded to include most of NW Texas and OK now. Severe weather looks to be on the menu both Saturday and Sunday.Wouldn’t be surprised to see another Enhanced risk for Sunday. Monday also looks interesting further south from here. Models are showing multiple MCS’s in Texas and OK through the upcoming week.

Winter 2020-2021 :cold:

All observations are in Tecumseh, OK unless otherwise noted.

Winter posts are focused mainly for Oklahoma & Texas.

Take any of my forecasts with a grain of salt, refer to the NWS, SPC, and NHC for official information

OTOH, kind of unexpected, probably got about a tenth of an inch just before 5 pm with a couple of CG lightning strikes. We need a lot more than that. IIRC, morning POPs from NWS for today was 10%.

In Bedford now in Tarrant County.

Conditional strong tornado threat today in Oklahoma if any supercell can latch on to the outflow boundary. Exact location of where the boundary will be later this afternoon is still TBD but central OK including OKC could be in play.

Power just came on as I was typing this after being out since the earlier MCS around 5am (north of Tulsa)
